Cat Coin
« on: October 20, 2013, 08:27:20 pm »
This half moon with two cats was a happy accident that actually turned out better than my original intent/vision.  Sometimes accidents or the attempt to salvage accidents turn up some jewels.  I like it any way.  My wife loves cats, so these were really for her.  I don't like cats so much, gristle gets stuck in the teeth :-)

I added the second pic to show the original intent, which I'm not so happy with.

Very nicely done.  Make a pair of them and they could be used as earrings.  Thanks for sharing it with us.

Nice work.

Have you ever considered using metal blanks as opposed to coins?

I took a few minutes on google and found a whole new world of cool stuff.  Evidently folks use these with metal stamps, metal paint and so forth.  Sometime the right key word in Google opens up a wealth of relevant content.  Along with blanks came information on metal stamping, metal coloring and a whole lot more stuff that could be helpful in these endeavors.  Many Thanks.
