hi dan, about an 1 1/2 hr to cut, the base(not pictured) i made an adjustment and used my router to make an inset, which made the cross more stable when glued.

I use a router on the base as well. I might use a #3 blade to cut the cross. Is that what you used?

hi dan, yes i use a #3 FD-XL blade(which is my fav overall to use). i use my router on a majority of my bases also.
