Maple and Walnut Inlay Name Plate
« on: October 24, 2013, 05:10:49 pm »
My mom's doctor's son is going to be graduating to be a doctor tomorrow, so she requested I make this for him. I made it sit at an angle because I thought it looked better that way. Thanks for looking.

Nice one. You're developing some skill in the inlay work.

Very nice inlay Dustin, the walnut hides the holes well.

Thanks all and yeah I find it easier to hide them in the darker the wood. I still have a lot improvements in the way I do it, but I like how it is coming along.
