File and Rasp Rack

Well this would be a follow up I guess to the video I did on the handles. I finished them all as you can see and then decided to make this rack for them. I corresponded each file or rasp to their own hole (because each one is a different shape or size). Just something simple to hold them.

That's a good looking rack and a good way to organize while saving space. Now how can you apply that to the kitchen? ;) ;) ;)

Thanks, well I guess you could make something like this for a knife holder or utensil holder.

I like how you numbered them so you can avoid the whole round peg - square hole problem.

I have a ceramic jar in my kitchen that I use for spatulas, wooden spoons and the like.  Try to pull out one and you get about seven.  If you're lucky, not fall on the floor.  This idea would be good for something like that.  It would be even better if there were slots so you could just pull them out instead of lifting them out.  (If I had something like that, it would have to mount above the splash guard and then I would run into the problem of bashing them into a cabinet if I had to lift them out.)

Not a bad idea.
