Nephew and Dog

My nephew had this dog for several years and he died recently. I was hoping you pattern artists could make a pattern from this photo for me to cut.

Sorry to hear about your nephew's canine friend. The photograph looks small but I will give it a shot.

I tried and  could not get anything out of that image.I am sure our seniors can come up with something good :)

A Mahendra said, the photo is a little rough. Here's an attempt if you can use it.

If you cut it, please post a photo.

Thanks Ray! Yes, I will post a picture. By the way, I cut the 1955 Studebaker pickup I believe you and Mahendra created. I combined features from both and will post picture soon. Thank yall for your help. I am studying the article in the lastest scrollsaw magazine about coverting photographs to patterns and hopefully will learn something. I have Gimp downloaded but I guess too old to learn new tricks.

You don't look older than I am, so I'm sure you can pick it up if you're comfortable with your computer.

I read the article. It will give you a start, but it is different than what I've been doing, and it does not use Inkscape. The Inkscape step is critical in my opinion. And I was not that impressed with the article's final pattern considering the quality of the starting picture. It does give some good hints - don't hesitate to rearrange the picture to look better than the original, eliminate the background, and even use 2 different pictures to get good images of two people.

I'll watch for the Studebaker.

Tony - here's another version with a gray fill if it's easier for you.
