holiday Intarsia
« on: July 01, 2013, 09:22:13 pm »
Figured its time to get started making things for the holiday season.  Did these two Intarsia's this weekend.

Candle is from Sawbird.com, I used Red and White Oak, Aspen, Maple, Bloodwood, Poplar, and Yealloheart.

Bear is from Judy Gale Roberts,  Used Aspen, Maple, Cherry, Poplar, Bloodwood, Walnut, and Mahogany.

They are lovely.  You did an excellent job on them.  I love intarsia but there are 2 things stopping me, courage and not being able to get the thicker wood to do it, I can only really get 1/4 inch.  Still never know one day...........
