Thanks a lot Marg, you are the epitome of sympathy, or are you just sadistic like my better half?

Keefie, she wasn't laughing at the time,as she was downstairs. All she did was shout upstairs,"what the h***'s all the noise about!!!!. She did however start howling with laughter when she saw my predicament. One leg caught on the step, the rest of me UNDER THE BED. It must have looked quite comical. One for youtube if someone had a camcorder.
Rob Roy.
P S. the bruise is now about three times the size it was and kinda looks like a photograph of a globe of the world. Oh and no requests for pictures in the brag forum. Mind you it might make an interesting pattern

Oh what a spoil sport I was just going to ask for a photo.
Many years ago (about 25 I think), when we were putting an extension on our house, Terry was up a ladder in the hall way, there was no ceiling in then just bare rafters. Anyway he had been sitting on one of the rafters, finished what he was doing and went to come down, got one leg over the rafter to put on the ladder, slipped and was hanging there. One leg hooked over the rafter and under the next and the other leg through the gap between rungs. Well that was the end of me I could not help him for laughing. The neighbor came around to see what was funny and had to help him because I was in no fit state It took me about 20mins to calm myself down.
He as never forgiven me, I don't know why.
Tell that one to your wife Rob, I bet she will like it.
