i have to say that i am a person of habbit, why change something if it works. i use the same spiral blades since i started i tried different ones that i didn't really care for, so i decided to stick with the regular ones that i always used. well my last order mike sent me a couple of new ones to try, i have been putting it off to use them because i realized i don't like change, i finally decided to give them a try and i got to say sometimes change is good now i can't wait till my next order. thanks mike for introducing me to the new blades your the best.

GB, She got a sample of the FD-NS # 2/0.
Next time I might send her a sample of the NS # 3/0.

I called MIke a month or so ago, and got great advice from him. I ordered blades, and he sent me a sample on New Sprial FD-NS # 1. I am making a protrait of our daughter and her dog. This is my first potrait and my real first use of sprial's. They are working great.

Thanks Mike

1st visit for long time (house move etc)...was thinking FD Blades and P&P costs now it's gone up to send to UK will likely be scary...decided to have a look here and see if anyone else in the UK had asked the same question...How much is P&P from USA to UK for scroll saw blades now?.
And who do I find but the very gentleman I was thinking about when musing on costs...FD Mike...so sir do you perchance have any information on the current cost of sending blades to the UK?. :)

Lorn, It depends on the weight of the blades. Minimum is $ 3.00.
One gross of blades goes for about for that.
Some customers in the UK have told me that it cost no more even less than the shipping inside the UK.

I've been happy with both the Olson and FD blades I've used.    The only issue I have is that some break more often than others.    I tend to lean toward the thinner spiral blades for the portraits I do.
