Segmentation - does that mean it's all cut from the same board then colored, rather than using different woods to get color?

Ray- that is what I learned. If you follow the posts Steve makes about the Gwinnett Woodworker Association they made a video of segmentation and intarsia. The definition they gave was what you said.
