St. Joseph in Frame

This frame is cut from a 7/8" thick birch hardwood board. Image is 1/8" BB Ply, backboard is 1/8" BB Ply with Red Mahogany stain. Overall size is 6.25"x10.25".

That sounds good. Maybe next time I'll add some padding to bring the portrait forward a bit.

Looks  beautiful ,some portraits need this type of framing to give a original look,very very nice :) is the frame routered ?

Mahendra - the frame was cut as one piece with the EX-21 scroll saw from a 7/8" thick birch plank, then cleaned up with the spindle sander. I broke the corners with hand sanding but did not use the router on it.

I plan to use the left over center section of the plank to make a small bowl.
