You can really depend on weather forecasting.  Attached show how we got 1-3" of snow overnight.

Kepy  Looks like there is about 1-3 inches of snow  on the gate!!!!! That should be close enough

Do you remember the 'senior lady' who called the weather service and asked if they would send someone to shovel the 5" of "Partly Cloudy" off her driveway?

I have a direct line to the Nat'l Weather Service! My local alderman is the one who feeds the information to the local media and he posts it on Facebook at the same time!
I know what the forecast is before the general public.
Of course on Facebook he adds his cryptic comments.....

Here at the confluence of the two major rivers he candidly tells us that we have the most 'unpredictable weather' of any area he has worked in his 35 year career.
I also learned this from a former Air Force weather analyst from Scott AFB who told me he was amazed at the strange way the two rivers meeting screwed up his predictions!

Actually, we got 6.5" of a very wet snow and they are predicting another 1" tonight.  Who knows what that could turn out to be.
