Ok, so i started to cut this out tonight and wow is this going to be big.....with the pattern they say that you can put the wood in the oven to darken it
..?? has anyone tryed this before..?? the longer you leave it the darker it will get...i also made up the mix of beez wax and mineral oil.....should i put this on after the oven or before..?? That sounds funny....
Thanks for any info...

Bees wax and mineral oil are flammable - alone or combined. Oven is hot - how hot depends on the user. Common sense in my world says the two would not normally be a fine mix at a temperature capable of "charring the wood". Just my nickles worth.
