I came accross this scroll saw while browsing some listing.  Does anyone know of this brand or whether this is/was a good scroll saw??? Thanks.

A new 24 inch sells for $400+ according to this site: http://woodworker.com/24-scroll-saw-mssu-140-063.asp  It says this is a 2 speed. Looks heavy duty but I would get something with variable speed myself.

Hey Adam, welcome to the forum!
For 80 bucks,  it might make a good backup saw, but I would not want it for my primary saw. For less than $200, Lowes sells the Porter Cable saw which gets pretty good reviews and has a warrantee.

I agree with Dan...maybe as a secondary or backup saw...
I would not consider this without taking some blades and wood and trying it out, especially the blade changing system!!!

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788
