On December 24th, Steve put up on his blog a special contribution from Russ Claridy. Russ had penned new lyrics (scroll saw version) to the Christmas tune of "Up on the Housetop" while steve had included the file for the actual song. When I saw this, I thought wow, now that's kinda cool. So I rehearsed it many many many times and sang and acted it out to my family on Christmas day as I handed out to them all (6 in total) a "God Bless Our House" plaque. I used props for the saw, tree and pattern as mentioned in Russ's lyrics. My grandchildren even videotaped it and put it up on You Tube.
Though I'm far from being an entertainer, the point here is that we had fun with it. I'm sure this is what Russ & Steve had in mind. I'd like to take this opportunity in thanking the both of you for providing the inspiration that caused me to do this. My family loved it.
