good buy

Went to a local saw mill today and purchased wood for my shop. I think it was an excellent buy. Most of the lumber is 13/16 thick. I purchased 2 pieces of white oak @ $4 each. 1 was 8? " x 51" the other was 4 7/8" x 63". The Ash was 5?" x 51" for $3.75. The Cherry was 7??x 51" for $9.25.
They had a piece of red oak about 12' long it was wide enough all you had to do was put legs on it and you would have a dinner table. (Ok maybe an end table. it was every bit of 16" wide) They had some beautiful purple and white aromatic cedar.
Now I have to decide what to make with it. I know part of cherry will be re-sawed to make some ? ?and ?? thick blanks for another sunburst clock an ornaments.

Sounds like some great prices, I too went to my local saw mill and got a bunch of white oak, I spent almost $50 for 5 boards, 7/8", all were 5.5" - 6.5" wide and all were 4.5 - 7ft long, I get a 20% discount for shorts(anything under 5ft), at my local HD, the 3/4 red oak would have been about double that price, so my 25 min. drive to the mill is well worth it.
