Need Help With A Pattern of my Pet

I want to make a portrait of my daughters Pet dog.  It's her dog, but when she got married last year, we "inherited" him!    I want to give it to her for Christmas.  I want to put it in a 8 x 10 frame.

Hope that one of you Portrait Wizards out there can help me.
