Yet again I had to take my machine back to the shop, it was vibrating again and had a "clicking" sound coming from the linkage at the motor end. I got it to Axminster Power Tools and they were looking at it within minutes of me getting there. They spotted the problem within seconds, there is a small link attatched to the motor shaft with an eccentric bearing in one end. That bearing had come out of the link about an 1/8th inch, this meant the link was no longer straight but sitting at an angle, this in turn meant the side of the link was wearing away where it was touching another rod and the needle roller bearing at other end of the link was running out of line, damaging the needle roller bearing. It took about 15 mins to replace the link rod after first removing the new bearing then refitting it with locktite to stop it coming out again. While I was there they also stripped the top arm and replaced the adjuster mechanism in that linkage with a new type as there had been probs with the old type breaking. Then they set up and adjusted the machine and tested it. All ok and running smooth again. Once again Axminster Power Tools have proved their back up service is second to none.
