My guess is you used Baltic Birch. Just a suggestion, if you have access to maybe like a cherry or something with a nice grain to it, just a clear coat would make it look even better. Looks fine to me like this though. Good job!

This one I did with limited time, so I used what I had on hand. new stock of wood comming, so on we go !!!!

Looks good to me. I have plans someday to try something like this. Have the wood set aside for it, just havent done it yet. Nice job.
