I have a frind that just started to co the our monthly meeting here at home.  He called me tonight and asked me a question I cann't answer.  He wanted to know once her gets the table cleaned up , can he spray a fine coat of Poly on the table?  I tolded him to just clean it up and thasn put some polish on it.  I don't know what else to tell him.  I would like any help on this from the family here that I can get.

Thanks

I would suggest that he get it a smooth and clean as possible, no dirt or oil residue of any kind. Then use any good paste wax that does not contain silicone to protect and make slick.

Thanks GB & Bill.  That is about what I told him.  I also told him that after he gets it as clean as possible to wipe it off wilth alchole(sp).  That will take anything off that is let on the table.  Than polish it.  Thanks guys.
