Hey GB, So sorry your ST. Louis Cardinals did not make it to the World Series. I'm not a Base Ball fan, so I don't care about the Giants even though they are a California team.
I know you are heart broken, but maybe next year :'(

Not a bad run for a team that everyone counted out before the season began and with a manager who had NEVER managed even a little league team!
And where was Albert Pujols while all this was going on...playing golf! HA!

Yep! St. Louis Cardinals, playing for the National League Pennant in October! Nothing to sneeze at! Only two teams got to do that and they were one of them! They will be back next year! Count on it! GO CARDINALS!!

Meanwhile in Chicago, the Cubs start year two of, of, of, OH! rebuilding (again), restructuring (again) and changing the mind set (what ever that means!) from the minors on up and into management. So maybe  ::)  in another five years  ::) something good may happen up here. But I think St. Louis would have to take that year off!  ;D

Interesting statistic....of the 25 men on the NLCS roster 19 of them started in the Cardinal farm system and advanced to the Majors!
We don't buy players...we GROW them!
