Just got back...

Hi all.  A little off topic but I just wanted to say that we just got back from vacation to Tennessee and we had a great time.  For the Nascar fans we went to the Bristol race....it was our first live race.  Hubby was in heaven!  What I really wanted to let you know is that we went to Sloans Workshop....since they don't ship to Canada, Canada went to them. The store is located on a back country road and isn't that big but we were there quite a while....the owners are sooo friendly.  Well worth the drive and certainly glad I went.

Welcome back Donna.  I used to live in Tennessee and I found the folks there to be quite friendly.  I think when I retire I will be thinking of actually retiring  in that area of the country probably somewhere near Nashville.

DW, loved Nashville. If I ever get back I'm flying in (we had our RV) and staying downtown.  What a great place, we had a blast!  And you're right the people were very friendly all thru the state.
