What blade for silverware?

What blade would you recommend for cutting forks and spoons? Not sterling. I think they are steal maybe, not sure though. Just reg silverware from the goodwill batches.

Most of the time when I cut metal I use a normal blade, a number 3 or 5, depending on thickness. I haven't cut silverware before so I don't know the best method. However when cutting other metal it is really helpful to sandwich the metal between pieces of wood, the wood will keep the metal from bending and catching the blade.
What are you making with cut up silverware? I'd love to see pictures.

I never cut any metal myself but you could try some of the above.

I have cut quite a bit in aluminum (.050), brass and copper.  I use the Forme d'Art Brand Jewelers Blades from Sloan's Woodshop (www.sloanswoodshop.com).  I usually use the 1-JW blade, just go slow and let the blade do the cutting.  If you force it too hard, it will grab or break the blade.  Just my 2 cents....
