Secret Santa
« on: July 04, 2012, 05:15:10 pm »
Seeing all the wonderful christmas decorations Danny has been making makes me wonder, Are we going to do a "Secret Santa Christmas Exchange" this year ? and if so when do we start thinking about making gifts? I know I'm early, but I don't like to rush things lol
It's all a case of "Mind over Matter",  The Government don't Mind, and I don't Matter.

I don't think you are early!  I would love to participate.  I'll be watching to see what comes up. :)

It's called the Christmas Ornament Exchange and it usually starts around the first of September. You can make Christmas Ornaments as early as you want to.  ;)

I am interested...let me know the details on how this works. Do we make for just one person as a drawn name or do we make lots of items and ....I dont know...let me know how this works.

Troy, generally this works out by "Santa Russ"  assigning a name to each person who chooses to participate.  Then you make an ornament (if you haven't already) and send it to the address Russ passes on to you.  Then, sometime before Christmas (hopefully) you should receive a package in the mail containing the ornament another member made for you.  Pretty simple process.  I know some really get into it and make numerous ornaments to send to their recipient, but the standard is just one.  Russ will let us know when it's time to add our names to the hat!  You can certainly get started early with your ornament(s)!
