Congratulations on your new saw!  I wish you years and years of cutting bliss on it!  It is so much fun to have something so nice and new, isn't it! :)  You will have to let us know how you like it.

Have fun! :D

Congratulations Jim! I Had a chance to sit behind one a couple of weeks ago and was very impressed. It is very quiet and smooth running without any vibration even at top speed. It is a very nice saw. You will want to wax the table and get rid of the hold down foot. Also there is a guard in front of the lower blade clamp that gets in the way when you are trying to change the blade. Get rid of it too.
Overall, It is a great saw. You will love it!

Congratulations on your purchase.  There is nothing quite as exciting as a new tool.  May you have many years of satisfied scrolling.

I have had my 40-690 for a few months and it is still running smooth and no vibration  and is still very quiet.  No regrets here.  I also bought the Big Foot that Steve tested.  I really wooks great on small projects.

Hey Jim,

I'm really glad you had a good experience with your new 40-695, I just wish mine would have gone as well as yours did. I received my new 40-695 last Wednesday, and have it packed up to ship back tomorrow. the story is too long to tell here, but if you would like to read my experience I posted it on my blog. www.scroll-saw-forum.com

Good Luck to you and I sincerely hope your saw brings you years of creating great sawdust!
