Victorian Box

Just finished up my sister's birthday present.  1/4" maple for the sides and top, 1/4" bb ply for the base and lid liner.  Treated to a BLO/MS soak, and now that it's dried it'll get a couple coats of satin poly.  Pattern is from Sue Mey out of the Boxes Bowls & Baskets book from Fox Chapel.  7.5"X7.5"X3"

Very very nice.  I like the maple.

I was going to do that for LOML birthday but way too much work. On the to do list.

This pattern is also in Fall 2011 SSW.
