Hi Sheila ,for the staining of the pine frame ,did u use water based or oil based stain? Since i have only mdf at my end to work on but i think i can get hold of pine and try my hand at framing

Tomsunnu the stain I used was Minwax mahogony stain it is oil based.. Hope this helps... Sheila

Just an opinion, but it appears there is too much of the same color. Mayhap a contrasting background or frame would enhance the cutting more. Again, just an opinion.

Thanks for sharing this and a nice job of cutting.
