Ribbon Box
« on: April 02, 2012, 02:01:20 am »
This project is from a book I bought a few months ago The Best of Scroll Saw Magazine Creating Wooden Boxes Published by Fox Chapel Publishing.

The body is cut from a solid block of Walnut, the bottom & lid is Maple. The flat & wavy ribbons are laminated from Purple heart & Cherry then cut out on the scroll saw. The ribbon bows are laminated Cherry, Purple heart & maple then cut on the scroll saw. Finished with Danish Oil.

I tried posting the pics here but for some reason it looks like we can't so I posted it in the Gallery section.
Thanks for viewing.
