Late Night SURPRISE!!!

I was sitting here last night at almost 10:00 getting ready to shut down for the day when all of a sudden my Skype started beeping! Was not expecting any calls and I almost fell out of the chair.

When Skype opened there was ol' Russ Claridy!
We had a nice chat and I told him that any time he sees me online to just jump in! And sometimes I am on quite late so drop in any time...

Skype name..."graybeardstl"

You can also have a video conversation too if you have a webcam.

yeah, It's recommended to have pants on when Skype is active.

Unfortunately it's not working in most Arabic countries, as the internet connections are slow and the providers are blocking it.
So I'll have to stick with regular phones when I'm in that region.

Yup, I talk to a few forum friends including Russ on Skype. You can have a video chat if you want, but I'm so ugly I'd rather not have the video camera on! :o

LOL, So you weren't expecting a call from me huh. It was fantastic experience to put a voice to the person I have chatted in posts with for almost two years. The same with Dan and Marion. I couldn't do video that night because my wife was in bed behind me AND WARNED ME NOT TO!!!!! Looking forward to talking again GB.  :)

Yes Marge, but for some reason you don't seem to get a picture lol, but yes you can have a conversation without the webcam.

A person can pick up a web cam for about the price of a dozen blades.   Good way to chat with folks as you can show things as well as describe them.
