I need to Thank, DGman, Marmoh, RussC and Steve.

Some of you already know that I was invited to be a vendor at this years Lakeland Fl. Airshow starting Mach 27th, to show and sell my scroll saw work. This is an annual show that Features The US Air Forces Thunderbirds acrobatic air team. The show typically brings in an attendance of 200,000 to 300,00 people every year and last for six days. Preparing for a show like this can be overwhelming to a guy that just makes stuff in his garage.

This is where the Thank You's come in. I have had an enormous amount of help to prepare from Marion (Marmoh) and Dan (DGman), without their help I probably would have backed out of this event for the simple reason I would not have enough items to show and sell at the event.

Marion has made and shipped me over 170 items of jewelry, bowls and other things which is simply amazing, especially from some one I have yet to meet face to face. Dan has cut many projects for me as well and has also supplied items that he had previously made, that I will take to the show, again never having personally met.

Neither one of them are very good at tooting their own horn, so I'm going to do it for them! Not only have they supplied me with lots of stuff, the quality is amazing, stuff I am extremely proud to have at my tables. RussC (Our Moderator) has also joined the efforts to help supply items for the airshow, it's a lot easier since he lives a mile or two away from me, Russ will also join me at the show to help out. It will be very nice to have another scrollers experience at the show and I'm looking forward to having him there. Thanks Russ for the perfect 45's!

As for Steve, None of this would have happened had it not been for his selflessness in being willing to share his Hobby, his Knowledge and his time to allow others like myself to reap the benefits. Through Steve, I have made new friendships, started a fledgling business and even have a new "Mom" which is solely due to Steve and this forum. I simply can't express my gratitude to him enough with mere word's.

I apologize for this post being so long, but to me, it was necessary.

I thank you, for believing in me enough, to allow me the opportunity to be apart of the show.  When a group of strangers can come together and contribute to help each other, that is a wonderful thing.   We simply took a large project and broke it down into 4 smaller ones.  I'd do it again in a heart beat.  Thanks to Dan and Russ and to our leader Steve for making it all possible.     Mom

This is a GREAT family.  Well done for helping and supporting Bob in his hour of need.  I hope the sales go extremely well for you on the day.  And just to had to the Thank Yous, I would like to say a big thank you to IggyGiles/Ian who has very kindly offered my husband and I a bed for a couple of nights while we are in the UK.  There are not many people that would open their homes to complete strangers.  Thanks Ian.

Well now you all know why I can get such big lumps in my throat, and tears in my eyes. This has come to be just the plain ordinary every day kind of people I have come to expect when ever I log on  to this family of FRIENDS. I probably wouldn't have gotten into scrolling if it hadn't been for the good samaritan who gave me his old saw. Wouldn't even let me pay for the shipping!
Marion has come to be one of my BEST FRIENDS, and I hope she feels the same toward me. It's would take more than I can write tonight to express my thanks to all those who deserve them, maybe when my strength returns. Know that you great folks are LOVED even though met only via our extended electronic family.
Who'd a thunk it?   + Thank you to all who've had me in their prayers, I'm sure they were helpful in my recovery so far, please keep them coming I'm not out of the woods just yet. To give you an idea, of how close it was it required 6 full transfusions worth of blood and two surgical teams 7 hours, to replace the Aorta and the 2 arteries that feed both legs. They call me "The Miracle Man" at the hospital.
So you can see those prayers did good!
Man you should see the cool Zipper that runs from below my navel all the way to my sternum.
