Gabby and why me
« on: February 16, 2012, 08:46:19 am »
Gabby?s wife does not use or like computers.  She had someone get into his computer and get names out of his e mail contacts list.  My name was one that she knew so that is why I was notified.  It was by chance that I talked to her the other day and I have not communicated since as I did not want to bother them as they are going thru these trying times. All of my contact is thru a friend of the family. I have inquired as to an address for sending cards and have been told that the information will be given as soon as he is moved into a room.  The moment I receive this information I will relay it to all of you.  Until then all I can do is wait for e mail updates and relay them to all of you.  I just pray that he continues on the uphill road and that soon he?ll be able to get to a room and we can bombard him with cards and well wishes.   It seems that our prayers have been working so keep them coming.  Thanks for bearing with me and I am just as anxious as everyone else to let him know that I care.    Marion

Thanks, Marion!  Please post it on this thread when you find out.  I would love to send something and I have this on my watch list.  Please let the family know how happy we are that things are looking up.  :)

Marion, that is so sweet of you to do all that you have done for us and Gabby's family. This site is made up of wonderful, devoted and caring members such as yourself. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and I for one will send Gabby a Get well card as soon as his Hospital address is posted. May God bless you for your kindness.

If ya'll keep saying all of those nice things about me you are going to ruin my reputation !!!!!
Appreciate all of the kind words but any one of you would have done the same thing.

You are doing a great job in informing us of any progress and we all appreciate that very much.  If there's anything that we can ever do for you just ask and we will all be there to help you.

Thanks Marion! great job done.
Marion could you check if there any change that we can get the address of Gabby so we could send him a card?
I wouldn't post the address here, but maybe with the help of Russ we can exchange it.
Russ has all our email addresses, so maybe he can send Gabby's address to everyone who wants to. (after his wife approves i guess?)
maybe with a PM or the start of a new topic?
