Makes me feel bad for having arthritis in the knee and being on the sice as they stopped me working 10 yrs ago as I keep falling over. Mind you this government is reassessing everyone , so 10 yrs ago they tell me I can't work due to health and safety rules, now they will probably tell me to go back to work. don't know if i'm coming or going at the min.

The main problem we are running into is, those who won't work are rapidly out numbering those who will, and they vote for the politician who promisses them the most!

We are in deep do-do, because those politicians are in power.

Our founders warned us of this, and it's coming to pass.

Our only hope is that enough folks who see the writing on the wall vote this year to off set those numbers.

I would hate to be my Grand Children if this isn't turned around.

                   Politics has little to do with anything, politicians come and go and only have a short time in power. The real issue on this planet is man himself. Metaphorically speaking, at first there was Adam and he owned the whole planet with all its recourses and never even dented those recourses. Then there was Eve, and Adam now only owned half the planet. No need to go any further on that one, you can see where it is leading. The planet has only so much to offer and we are eating it up at an ever increasing rate, no matter who is in power. I liken it to an apple on a plate in the kitchen, at first it is all shiny and fresh looking, eventually a little black spot appears on the skin, and then another. After a month or so it is just a black unsightly mess full of fungus and irretrievable. The apple is our planet and we are the microbes eating it up, that is why I fear for my grandchildren. We are eating their inheritance, and so far have made little effort to retrieve the situation. Time to wake up and smell the coffee, we are all guilty, not just the politicians.

Iggy I think you are just trying to see if you can get a rise out of me. 

I agree with some of what you said and disagree with some.

Politicians are legal con men out to fill their own pockets and consolidate their power, and the results are not for the betterment of man as they all claim. History will bear that out.

As for your apple the fungus and mold analogy, it works pretty good to a point.
They and we multiply to the point where we have reproduced beyond the point where the resources will sustain the population. Eventually pestilence or war will reduce our numbers so we can do it all over again. The fungus and mold just spread their spores on the wind to take root where they may.
Perhaps we will return in the next life as a microbe and screw ourselves to death. LOL
Got to make a joke of it, or go nuts.
