steve mentions using lemon extract in his key ring/polymer vedio ..I have been using tung oil on some of my bowls before I finish them .Is ther an advantage to using lemon ex. over anything else?

Actually He uses Lemon Furniture oil. There are different brands. Wal Mart sells Old English. Comes in 16oz containers for about 4 dollars.

I use a little of both. I think that using lemom oil is a little quicker, and makes the grain pop. Dave

I've been using the Old English lemon oil. Got it at Home Depot. I like the way it brings out the grain.

A friend of mine told me he uses mineral oil,its found in the pharmacy section
