Something for the over *50* crowd
« on: December 30, 2011, 02:17:26 pm »

Forgetter Be Forgotten
My forgetter's getting better,
But my rememberer is broke
To you that may seem funny
But, to me, that is no joke
or when I'm 'here' I'm wondering
If I really should be 'there'
And, when I try to think it through,
I haven't got a prayer!

Oft times I walk into a room,
Say 'what am I here for?'
I wrack my brain, but all in vain!
A zero is my score.

At times I put something away
Where it is safe, but, Gee!
The person it is safest from
Is, generally, me!

When shopping I may see someone,
Say 'Hi' and have a chat,
Then, when the person walks away
I ask myself, 'who the heck was that?
Yes, my forgetter's getting better
While my rememberer is broke,
And it's driving me plumb crazy
And that isn't any joke.

CAN YOU  RELATE???

Please send this to everyone you know
because
I D ON'T REMEMBER
WHO I SENT T HIS TO!

Hi Chelcass, that certainly relates to me. At 66 years,(on Christmas Eve),I think.
I can remember what I was doing in 1955 but I don't know what I was doing 5 minutes ago. Most of my days now are CRAFT days!!!.

Hi GrayBeard, some unfair comments there. I'm sure you will attest to the fact you are as old as you feel. I could have said something else there but I would get thrown off the forum.LOL. I will be having a few of your ROB ROYS tonight, so don't be surprised if I disappear for a couple of days lol.

LOL I thought you all would get a kick out of it.  I can't begin to tell you how many times I have gone into a room and forgotten what I went there for.  Sigh!!  Well I'm not the oldest here but I'm not the youngest either!!  Hey!Rob Roy we have something in common.  Good Ole 1945!!
