Can't make up my mind about your boyfriends motives, he may be cleaver in that he will not have to spend any more money on taking you out any more, as you will, as we all do, only want to make sawdust. Or is he being silly as he will be missing out on your company?? Just kidding, but remember there is a lot of frustration in learning. There are times when you just want to throw the saw out of the nearest window, at that point just walk away and try again in a couple of hours and many of the frustrations will have gone or as has been said there are many World Class Scrollers on this site and every one of them very helpfulllllll.
