I know most people start out on easy stuff but this is the first thing I ever cut. The motor cycle was hard because I didn't know all the little secrets of scrolling yet, took me forever.

I cut my daughter's name free hand. She still has it, and displays it on her desk. Dave  :o

My earliest use for the scrollsaw was as a template making tool, which I would then use for reproducing items using a router, etc.

This is probably the oldest piece I still own that has some scrollsaw involvement, from about 1997.  It involved 3 templates.

These days I spend more time using the scrollsaw for 'scrollsaw' projects, but it is still a great template making tool.
