Talking about the bending direction of the blade we should also take a look at the clamp. I had some problems with that on my Hegner first, sometimes the blade bend left sometimes right.
Also check to have your blade not mounted upside down!
 
but since I changed the blade clamps the problems vanished.

i'm going to try out a new olsen scroll saw blades  and i'll get back to everyone on how it works if you read my other messages on this message board you'll know what is going on with the ex-21 and the dewall dw788 with the FD blades.....

I found out that "Anker Blades" are related to a German company "F.A. Schmidt".
Their brand logo is a anchor with a heart, some clever salesman therefor sell them blades as "Anker Herz".
