I've just cut Steve Goods peace on earth nativity out of 15mm (5/8ths) birch ply using a Flying Dutchman No3 scroll reverse blade, which it did like a hot knife through butter and still has plenty of life left in it.
Outside a dog a scrollsaw is a mans best friend, inside a dog it's too dark to cut.
