Dave Matthews Band Christmas Ornament

I am looking for a christmas ornament with the Fire Dance Logo in the center of it.

I would like to make some with a batch of purple heart and padauk i just purchased for my friends for christmas.

Not so sure Chaci.  I think as long as he is giving them away to friends, and not engaging in any form of commerce he may be fine.  Same thing with requesting the pattern.  I think if someone responds with a pattern they made for his request, and no value is exchanged, it is probably fine.

I could be wrong!  It's not like I haven't been before.

I wasn't trying to beat a horse, I know the copy write laws but wasn't sure for a couple reasons.
1, i have been to his shows and they are openly recorded, they actually encourage it.
2, it was just for some christmas gifts.
I wasn't quite sure which is one of the reasons I didn't post pictures, I posted a link.
I wasn't trying to upset people I am sorry if i did.

OK, let me set the record straight. It has always been a rule that has been enforced and has never changed from one day to another as some would have you believe. You can not post copyrighted material/patterns on this forum, period. Read; Pattern Uploads. Must Read in the Bulletins and News at the top of General Category list.

With that being said, There is nothing wrong with requesting a pattern from copyrighted material from our pattern makers/members on the forum and posting the link like you have done Crafty NY Scroller, that is really the best way to do it. If someone would like to make a pattern and it was to be e-mailed, then that is not the forums concern. Neither is what is done with the pattern. (What goes on behind closed doors, LOL)  

We just can't afford copyrighted material to be posted. It would eventually cause the forum to be shut down.

You guys are funny reading the after math:) one day i will learn pattern making:)
It is ok and trust me I understand more than any of you about copyright infringement.
And you were all looking out for the board I can commend that more than anyone.
Deffinetly no hard feelings, I appologize for putting you in that position but I do know what I was
requesting was legit.
