I could not Have said it better Sheila They really don't have any idea what we see here from day to day and season to season. Oh and GB right because of the drought it is all dirt and rocks lol

I spent time in TX back in the mid 50's and I know what a great place it CAN be but I also know the terror of dust storms, range fires, winter snow storms and irate Texan husbands!

Not much more GB.
Some great photos, I'm sure the photographer had to do some real searching for some of them. I've hauled produce from Pecos and El Paso, the only place I saw any green was the irrigated fields, unless you count prickly pear.  ;D
I wonder how many know what an Ocotillo or a Century plant are?
I'm going to get Texas bashed I'm sure. But a great part of Texas is miles and miles of miles! I've driven them.
