I live in Tucson.  I have been hobby woodworking for about 30+ years, but only active scrolling for about 4 years.  My primary interest is intarsia. I have taken courses from JGR and now teach intarsia at the Tucson Woodcraft store.

Hi, I also just joined this forum and am from Tucson. I spend alot of my husbands money at the Tucson Woodcraft store .  My usual home online is Sawmill Creek, but Steve does such a good job I had to join. I like to do all different kinds of woodworking (scrolling, turning, flat work) but my specialty is making sawdust .

Welcome to the site ya'll.  I have never tried intarsia, but have thought about it.  Waiting till I have the nerves and the time to try.  Would like to see some of your things.

Welcome to both of you. I'm in sunny Southern California and I also teach at Woodcraft!

Hi dgman.  What do you teach at your Woodcraft store?  Interestingly enough, I had an instructor from a Woodcraft store in Washington state fly down to take my intarsia class.  He was teaching scrollsawing and a few other things and wanted to expand his areas.  I should have taken some classes from him.

EclipseScroller, I teach beginner and intermediate scroll saw or as the store calls them scroll saw 101 and scroll saw 102. I am versed in all aspects of scrolling including Intarsia, but there hasn't been to much demand for any thing but 101 and 102.
The store is less than two years old, so we are still building our student base.
