Art in the Park results
« on: August 20, 2011, 09:02:41 pm »
It was a very nice day for an Art and Craft Festivity.  In the middle of the afternoon it did get a tad bit warm but we got through it.  Below is the layout of my display.  Once again I was the only scroller in the pack, there were two turners and a couple of wood painters.  It was fun.  I did surprisingly well considering the Cleveland area is not known for wealth at the moment.  The lady in the pictures is my mother.

It looks like you had a lovely day!  It is a wonderful setting and it seemed like you had a nice shady area. I am happy that you did well, too.  Thanks so much for sharing the pictures with us. :)

Fine!

What's this green board there? are there puzzles? or are these signs? do they stay there or do you fix them on there?

Torsten the green board there is a rack I made to display my stand alone puzzles.  It is covered in green felt and there is a 1 1/2 inch shelf for the puzzles to sit on.  Since the display is at about a 5 degree angle or so the puzzles stay on the shelf easily.

A perfect day... meeting people, showing off our hobby, spending time with 'mom' AND making a few bucks!

What more could a scroller wish for?

Nice assortment of projects!
