Where to buy wood
« on: June 13, 2012, 03:47:30 am »
I am about to start an intarsia project. I posted my project on that forum and asked people for advice. Some suggested I do the water with Blue Pine. Well, finding Blue Pine was not so easy at first, then I found this web site: http://thehandsomewoodman.com .  I have not bought from them yet, but from what I can tell they are an awesome site to get wood from for scroll saw projects. You pick the actual piece of wood and they send it to you.  Just sharing info I learn as a I go.

Yes, very nice site. I like the way you can select the thickness and/or width. I will have to do a purchase with them and see how good they are. Thanks for this info.
