Quarter Sawn Oak Bowl

Cut from Quarter Sawn White Oak.  Finished with a homemade beeswax paste wax.

That looks really great!

Angled cutting, some preplanning and some shaping by sanding took about 4 hrs to get the flutes the way I wanted them.

     Great job on that one ! BUT now ya got me thinking - I wonder how Beeswax and Lemon oil would work ? I think it would be food safe - I have to head to the store and read the label on the lemon oil.
You'd think me living in Florida would know.....LOL

Vince I do not see why it would not work.. the only thing is what is the vapor point of the lemon oil.. when you heat it to mix in the beeswax if you get to hot it might catch on fire.  Just a thought.
