Al I have to agree with Sheila, he IS cute!
What amazes me is the effects possible with intarsia. Some day I'll find some different colored wood and try my hand at it. I've been thinking of using paint or stain to get that effect but that seems like cheating.

Al, I really like what you've done with Mr Fixit. I have a few more pieces I have to make for my veterinarians new office, then I want to cut Mr Fixit

Al, as always you did a great job on him.  Do you have any recommendations for a simple pattern and advise for someone wanting to try Intarsia ??  I would use the same wood if necessary just to see if it is something I can do, before investing in different woods.   Any words of advise would be greatly appreciated.
