Can someone tell me where in canada I can get bb plywood and not have to buy a truck load at a time .I have checked with all lumber yards in my area and they all say the same thing we cannot bring in 1-2 sheets at a time it must be a pallet full. Any canucks have an answer for me.

I am not sure about the canada thing, but I have found some decent ply at craft/hobby stores. It is by the model air planes and such. I have used it in a pinch a few times, even though it is a bit more expensive then at a lumber place. I have a michales 2 miles away with better hours then the lumber place 20 miles away.
Have you checked out the shipping from online retailers?

You will get some, just watch out. There are some mail order shops that sell. Check the woodworking magazines for their adds.

I recently figured out, that simple beech boards from my homedepot are quite nice to cut.
Also do they now have beech plywood in stock - fantastic quality, much better than the baltic birch!

If you're searching for special wood (not just bb ply) you can search for "music wood" that's used for building musical instruments. it's mostly around 1/4" to 1/8" thin. Check for B sorting - much cheaper.
