Ok, I am fine.  Joplin, (by the PC Miler I use for Jaun) I am about 167 miles from Joplin.  However, we did have a tornado near by since I found my curtains being sucked out the windows in stead of blowing in.
I have no where to go since the nearest towns are about 15 miles both directions.  Since I had no kids to worry about this time, I sat in the living room with everything turned off just listening to the sounds and watching the light show.
If it were not for Jaun calling me and warning me about the on coming storm, I would have never paid attention.  Also two of our boys were texting me to make sure I was ok.
Thank you all, and we need much prayers to go out to those from the city of Joplin, MO.  The death count now is 98 and rising.

...which can be a really interesting show too - without really being entertaining. Also I'm living in Europe, I've seen some really beautiful thunderstorms. Mostly during my time at the Army, when we were doing something outside during night time.

Glad to hear you and your family are OK, Cherie.  Was thinking of you, and the others in the area.

I heard last night of tornado warnings in Texas.  Hope those of our group down there are OK.
