I would rethink the 3 & 5's  those leave a very large kerf.  I love spirals but only use the 2/0 and 0, even on large projects.  You can get a pretty tight corner with them.

I use spirals all the time and do not even own anything larger than #1! I agree that 3's and 5's would leave too much 'kerf' and would never fit in the tiny places I have to cut.
Charlie uses those sizes but his projects are usually 3 times the size of ine.

I would agree, 3 and 5 are a bit big unless you plan on cuttin some thick wood. I would stick with 2/0s or a #1, with maybe 3 being your biggest.

I to have discovered the wonder of spiral blades lately, but tend to break the 0/2 and #1 blades while threading them trough the wood. Any suggestions so I too am using the larger blades now.

I agree with the others.  Very seldom use larger than a #1 and only then a #3.  I do have #5's but I use them when I want to widen a kerf that I have already cut with a flat blade, to make it more visible.  Remember, if you want to "sharpen" a corner you can change blades to flat to do that.  There is no rule that says you can use only one kind of blades per project  Good luck and have phun.
