Celtic cross

The original cross design is by the amazing Sheila Landry, I was asked to put the circle on, blow it up to about 10 inches, and add a base.  I cut the crosses (no sense in wasting the opportunity to stack cut) out of oak and made the base out of oak and walnut.  I designed the base so the bottom of the cross "locks" into it, but can be removed if the owner desires.

Those turned out beautiful. I really like the idea of the base being removable, and the colors of the base look great. Awesome job, thanks for sharing!

I think it came out great Bill, I especially like the different base I've never seen one like that before.

I like it Bill. I have cut that cross many times but not that large. The base was a good idea too. Might try one that way. Thanks. Bobby
