First and foremost, wishing him well and a speedy recovery also!!!

Just a thought, since most of us use FD's, hope this doesn't come across wrong. Maybe Mike could let us know when he will stop taking orders prior to his procedure, then we could load up on blades to make it through his time off.

Again, just an idea, but my first wishes are for him to get the care he needs and make a full recovery.

I talked to Mike yesterday (Thursday).  He is scheduled to go into the hospital on the 4th of May.  I have heard that others that have their hip replaced have gone home in 3 days.  I expect he will have to have some recuperation at home before he can get back to business.  He is more concerned about letting his customers down than he is about himself.  I told him to take care of himself first and that his customers will understand.  What we can all do now is pray for him and his recovery.    Silver Sliver

From experience and per my Orthopedic surgeon...a hip replacement is much easier to recover from than either a knee or a rotator cuff and I have had both!
If I can recover from them Ol' Warhorse Mike can do it in a heartbeat!
He has licked worse in his lifetime!

Here are good thoughts for a full and rapid recovery Mike!
