Glad to be home
« on: April 12, 2011, 09:52:07 pm »
Had a wonderful trip and think I learned some stuff !!  Came back with red cedar and poplar.  Have some 4x4 cedar to see about making some band saw boxes.  Made 2 types of frames and used the router.  Just kind of stood back and took notes on some things.  It's the little tricks of the trade that make the biggest impact and think I remember some of them.  Had to keep track of what was going on on the forum, or would have been so far behind. Every time I hit, show unread posts, I'd have two pages to look at.  Sorry for not putting in my two cents worth on certain topics but will try and catch up over the next few days.  I have a unfinished project that I will be working on and hoping it turns out good enough to post when finished.  Going to Harbor Freight tomorrow (yeah) to see about getting a few items ... told my brother in law this free stuff is sure costing me a lot of money !!!

Glad to hear you made it home safely, waiting to hear how the trip, and your "school" went.
